How to use Call Park

If you're running a business, call parking can offer numerous benefits that can streamline your communication system and enhance your customer service. Here are some reasons why you might want to consider using call parking:

  1. Answer calls in a separate location: Whether you're working in a busy warehouse, factory floor, or workshop, call parking allows you to receive incoming calls in a designated office or quiet area. This can help you avoid noisy distractions and provide a more professional and focused customer service experience.
  1. Collaborate with colleagues: When a call comes in, call parking allows you to place the caller on hold and consult with a colleague before answering the call. This can be particularly useful if the caller has a complex query that requires input from multiple team members.
  1. Avoid voicemail frustrations: Rather than forcing your customers to leave voicemail messages, which can be frustrating and time-consuming for both parties, call parking allows you to place incoming calls in a virtual parking lot. This way, other team members can easily retrieve the call and provide immediate assistance, ensuring that your customers receive a more prompt and personalized service.

Single Button Call Parking is a feature that allows a person to put a call on hold at one telephone set and continue the conversation from any other telephone set.

Once a caller has been parked, a BLF line key on the Yealink phone will show solid red to let other users know that the park slot is occupied. Any user may retrieve the caller from the park slot by pressing the BLF line key. Most Phones will come with 1 to 2 call parking slots labeled Park 1 and Park 2.
