Voipcom Webphone is a convenient tool that allows you to make and receive calls directly from your web browser. No software installation is required, making it easy to use on any computer with internet access.
Follow the steps below to log into Voipcom Webphone.
1. Open your preferred web browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari) on your computer. We recommend using Google Chrome.
2. Log into your designated Voipcom portal
3. Locate the Apps drop down and select Webphone from the list.
4. Pressing the Allow button will trigger additional prompts asking additional permissions on how to use your microphone. Be sure to select "Allow on every visit"
5. Select the drop down arrow next to Microphone and then choose the microphone you plan on using to communicate with. In the example below, I targeted my Yealink Headset microphone.
6. The next step is to test and make sure the Webphone can pick up noise on the targeted microphone. Tapping the microphone will cause the blue bar to bounce left to right. If it does not respond, you might have chosen the wrong microphone and recommend going back to step 5 to pick a different microphone. Press the Next button once you are satisfied with the microphone chosen.
7. It is important that notifications are allowed in order for the Webphone to send you alerts to new activity.
